Foley Effects Recordings

Having obtained a list of items we need to re-record as a group teamed together to make the recordings, we set off to record random effects that would be suitable to substitute walking, on ground and on metal, the sound of people falling (this in itself made for an interesting time!) and other effects such as keyboard noise and elevator sound. And as an added bonus, as an alarm set off as we were recording, we decided to record that too!
To elaborate on the People Falling sound, what we attempted to use was potatoes put into a sports back that was basically just thrown at solid static objects such as walls and stairs which was recorded on the Portable Tascam recorder using a Sennheiser MKH 418-S Stereo Shotgun Mic installed into a Blip with DeadCat wind resistant cover.
