Testing the ADR playback

Having received the short film and related audio recordings a session was setup in Studio 2 to test the video playback ability and how this displays in the Live Room at the same time as in in the control room.

As this was the first time anyone had been in the studio since before the Christmas holidays this required setting everything up from scratch. Enabling the Mac Pro, Avid Xmon, Preamps and the Studio Video Displays.

After a bit of time configering the displays so they would playback the video correctly we managed to have it showing in both the Live Room and the Control Room flawlessly.

There was also provision to have it setup so the script could be displayed on screen at the same time as the video.

As can be seen in the image below, this was the Video playing back on the large display in the Live Room.
