Starting the Remix

As using Ableton Live is still totally new to me, Today's aim was to go over the software package again in class so as to start feeling confident in using it for the rest of the project.
So day 1 consisted of a revisit to Ableton in class and how to work with the STEMS.
With this I was able to insert the STEMS into the DAW (after having disabled warp on insert within the options settings) and from there select an overall tempo that I wished to work with, in this case 100BPM. Then with the individual Stems these were time stretched to match the BPM with the audio pitch shifted to remain at the correct pitch as it originally sounded while at the new BPM.
From there after a listen to the track I picked out areas that I wished to use as an intro from the song, making an area within the project space after the track had ended to copy over samples I liked and wished to experiment with.
