Laying down the Piano track

The final segment of instrumentation for Need You Now is the Piano track. For this the Roland FP-4 Digital Grand was used with it connected via two DI's for left and right channels.
As Midi is a requirement for the project it was decided that the FP-4 would be connected to the DAW via a Midi Control Box so that we could then record the Midi Annotation as the Keys are played. The use of Air's Mini Grand setup in an instrument track with the Midi Controller I/O'ed to this track was used to allow this to happen.
From the recording the one thing I did notice was that with Mini Grand and the FP-4 both playing together there was a much richer and stronger sounding Piano where I suspect for myself I would be keeping both enabled to keep this in the final mix.
I have included a collection of images to show the FP-4's setup including the Midi I/O box and the floor plan.
