The start of Project Two recording

Today marks the start of the recording of our cover of Lady Antebellum's acoustic version of Need You Now.

The plan for today is to record acoustic guitar using two mic techniques following the methods usesd by the bands original sound producer/engineer Paul Worley.

Paul and his team used a method called Guitar Herding where two or more guitar recordings were are made to give a strong acoustic rhythm segment. The Mic techniques that will be used for this will consist of a Spaced Pair setup with one mic pointing down to the body while the other is pointing up to the 12th fret. With the second technique using an ORTF stereo setup.
