Part One of the Recording

Part one of the recording has been completed, the drums have been set and the bass line added. Drum recording went well overall but due to unforseen issues the rear XY stereo pair did not record properly, so reliance for the stereo pair will come from the front Space Pair arrangement.

Bass recording went pretty much to plan with the dual D112 and SM57 setup, with added DI for a third recording option to go with it.

Guitar shall be recorded on Friday the 9th with a likely change to the recording method involving an SM57 and MD421 mic combo.

Vocals were attempted today but our vocalist will be doing a catch up session likely on Monday the 12th to finish off the studio recording stage.

Vocals were recorded within a vocal booth (floor plan ilistrated below) using a combination of the Neumann U87 and Coles 4038

A midi element will be added as well which shall if time allows be prototyped on Friday also.
